Crazy Aunt Patty's Thanksgiving Dinner List
Thanksgiving 1982
1. Large Turkey purchased at Piggly Wiggly for $10.59.
2. Canned beets.
3. Croutons for stuffing. w/ raisins.
4. Box of Potato Flakes.
5. Packet of Powdered Gravy - Beef Flavored. To be mixed with pot of boiling Giblets.
6. Orange Fluff. Tang and a Heavy whipped cream. My favorite.
7. Small appetizer pickles served with tooth pick.
8. Creamy weinies - served as appetizer with pickles.
9. Can of Cream Corn.
10. Orange Soda. Generic brand. - Stand bottle next to Orange Fluff for great effect.
11. Pumpkin Pie made with canned pumpkin and prefab pie crust (graham cracker crust).
12. Generic Chocolate Chip Cookies - preference for cookies that come with plastic tray for easy no-nonsense serving.
